This latest pastel painting is a commission of Kira and her horse, Elly May. Kira is a very talented and accomplished "eventer" and Elley May is her half Hanoverian partner in dressage, cross country and stadium jumping. I was lucky enough to see them compete up at Fairhill, and was really struck by the amount of teamwork and discipline that they demonstrated during the three day event.
